San José State University (SJSU) SJSU’s main campus sits in the middle of Downtown San José, giving the area a younger, energetic feel (and more food/coffee options nearby).
Plaza de César Chávez (Downtown anchor park) A classic Downtown stop—historic public plaza/park dating back to 1797. Great for a daytime stroll and often near events.
The Tech Interactive (landmark museum) Hands-on science/tech museum right in Downtown—great for families or a fun afternoon. San Pedro Square Market (easy food + social scene) A go-to Downtown food hall/hangout spot with lots of vendor choices and a lively atmosphere.
